Serve Outdoors Matagorda Bay Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization that assists disabled individuals, veterans, disabled veterans, youth, special needs folks and the elderly experience the great outdoors on hunting & fishing adventures.
Annual Banquet
Our annual banquet held in the late summer includes a fried chicken plate with all the fixin's courtesy of Frank Heager and his cookin' crew and our wonderful friends at Matagorda Volunteer Fire Department. The morning after the banquet, participants spend a day on Matagorda Bay.
Drew McGinnis Memorial Blast & Boil
Our Drew McGinnes Memorial Blast & Boil fund raiser held in the spring includes a skeet shootout, a rimfire challenge, all-you-can crawfish and BBQ, live music and a live auction. This event takes place the 1st Saturday of May at Cajun Haven Range in Markham, TX.
We only have 2 fundraising events per year. A Blast & Boil in the Spring and an Annual Banquet in the fall. We spend the rest of the year serving this mission.
