At SGC we are a veteran based company. So naturally the causes near and dear to us are related to those who have served our country in both time of war and peace.  Your purchase of our coffee selection helps support these causes.

6435 veterans committed suicide in 2018, the most recent figures available.   Current numbers say 20 veterans a day.  That's too many.  SGC is made up of VFW members who support PTSD and suicide prevention.  Many veterans feel helpless when it comes to  getting the help they need. We support our VFW Post and work with veterans needing help connecting them with service officers to help them get the help they need.

Smokin Gun Coffee met up with Serenity Veterans Village founder Lauren Andrade at a VFW convention. We were intrigued by her passion  to build small transitional housing  for at risk or homeless Veterans. Upon returning home from overseas Lauren saw the lack of assistance for veterans and was on a mission to find a way to help others.  SGC donates to help Lauren in her mission for the homeless.  For more information about what Lauren is doing click below
